Lynda Rose (Ekstrom) Wilson was born on January 27, 1953 in Cook County, Illinois and went home to be with the Lord on June 16, 2020 at the age of 67 years old.
Lynda recently worked at Resort Vacation, Inc. and loved being a mother and grandmother.
Lynda brought love and laughter to everyone around her and anyone who knew her would describe her as extremely thoughtful, sweet, and so very full of life. Lynda loved all things beautiful. She loved sharing pictures of beautiful flowers and elegantly designed rooms. She never forgot to wish someone Happy Birthday and was always going out of her way to make the people she knew feel loved and special even if only by a small gesture such as a card or just a warm hug. Lynda was a beautiful person inside and out and she will be incredibly missed by so many people.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Breen Ekstrom.
Lynda is survived by her children, son, Robert Wilson of Irving, Texas; son, Jimmy Wilson of Bedford, Texas; daughter, Caitlin Wilson of North Richland Hills, Texas; granddaughter, Emma Rose Hayes; father, Donald Ekstrom of Chicago, Illinois; sister, Diana Glavas and husband, Tony of Chicago, Illinois; one niece and one nephew and her precious cats, Miss Kitty and Bailey.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel in Hurst located at 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, Texas 76053.
