Lynn Austin-Truitt

Lynn Austin-Truitt, 82, went to be in the arms of the Lord on May 14, 2024. She was born on March 15, 1942 to her loving parents Louis Gustav Sick and Lottie Frances Evans in Salisbury, Maryland.

Lynn graduated from Snow Hill High School, and lived a successful life surrounded by her family and friends. She loved spending her time quilting, doing puzzles with her family, and cruising to the Caribbean with her husband. Lynn also adored spending quality time with her two miniature Schnauzers, Pebbles and Sophie.

Lynn is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved Yorkie, Gypsy Rose, but leaves behind many family members that loved and cherished her presence; her husband, Benjamin Truitt; her son Pratt (Shannon Dukes); son Robbie (Billie Dukes); daughter Jenny Dennis; daughter Bobbi (Michael Cook); her grandchildren Lauren and Bruce Woodhouse; Duke Dennis; Julia and Brandon Lee; Taylor and John Lewis; Casey Cook; Mason Cook; and her great-grandchildren Raelyn Woodhouse; Makenna Lee and trey Woodhouse, along with her brother Eric Sick, sister Vivian Porter and countless extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas on Monday, May 20th from 6 to 8pm. A chapel service will be held the following day at Lucas Funeral Home starting at 10am.
