Lynn Spurgin

Our dear Mother, Minta Delyn "Lynn" Alexander Spurgin passed away March 27, 2024. Lynn was born September 8, 1940 in Dublin TX to Harvey and Geneva Alexander. Lynn was Mother to five children, Kathy (Jerry) Stern, Ernie (Debbie) Busby, Janice (Donny) Awtry, Eddy (Lynn) Spurgin and Carl Alan; nine grandchildren, Nikki, Jonas, Kyle, Laney, Justin, Kim, Brandon, Jae Lauren and Caitlyn; twenty-two great grandchildren with one arriving in September; three nieces and many, many loved cousins.

Lynn was passionate about gardening, reading, quilting, making stained glass, antiquing and thrifting. Above all she loved family. She had a wide circle of cherished friends and enjoyed attending the Dublin Reunion every year to catch up and visit with lifelong friends.

Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Spurgin; her parents, Harvey and Geneva; her sister, Kay; her brother, Bill; her nephew Mike and her much loved fur baby, Lovey.

Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Monday, April 1, 2024 at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 South Main Street, Keller. Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Lucas with burial to follow at Bourland Cemetery.
