HURST -- Madeline Graham Post Covington, 94, passed away at home Thursday, July 2, 2015.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Interment: Sand Hill Cemetery in Decatur.
Madeline was born Aug. 20, 1920. She was married for 60 years to Will Frank Covington Sr. before his death in 2002.
Madeline volunteered in Girl Scouts, PTA and Oak Crest Women's Club, where she served as president. She attended Legacy Church where she sang in the choral group. Madeline had the gift of hospitality and a captivating smile that created a warm welcome for guest in her home.
Survivors: Son, Will Frank Covington Jr.; daughters, Linda Anne Deweber, Sharon Louise Covington and Melanie Ruth Covington; and daughter-in-law, Dee Covington. She was grandma of nine, great-grandma of 18 and great-great-grandma of three. She will be missed by all.
