Loving wife, mom, sister, aunt, and friend to all that knew her.

She will be missed by anyone who meet her as she was known for her kindness, patience, and sweet and gracious presence.

Mae Pearl is a descendant of the Ambrose Foster family that was among the original Peters Colonists who came to Grapevine prior to July 1845 and settled on the Grape Vine Prairie. The Ambrose family was among the first twelve members of Lonesome Dove Baptist Church currently located at Lonesome Dove Road in Southlake.

Mae Pearl went to work for the Deacon family at B&D Mills in Grapevine in 1953 where she talks about riding the elevator man lift to the top of the grain silos and could see all of Grapevine. In 1957 Mae Pearl went to the work for the City of Grapevine's first City Manager Floyd Ezell as his secretary and later for City Manager Jim Hancock which at the time had about 20 employees. Mae Pearl worked in the Personnel department until her retirement in 2005 where she served the citizens and employees of Grapevine for over 38 years.
