Jerry was born on March 27, 1980 in Louisville, Kentucky but lived most of his life in Texas. He loved the Fort Worth Stockyards like any true Texan would. Jerry loved to explore new adventures. The drive alone would excite him. He was THE BIGGEST Dallas Cowboys & Texas Rangers fan and we can’t forget his UK Wildcats!
Jerry loved Texas Country, BBQ, sports, Mexican food, and the latest and greatest electronics available. It didn’t matter what kind of device it was but he had to have it. He loved to travel and the beach was one of his favorite places to visit. Jerry also loved his dog, Andrus.
Jerry was a very passionate, kind, and thoughtful person. His loving soul cared deeply for his family. Jerry’s smile and sense of humor were his most enduring qualities. Everyone who met him were immediately warmed by his kind heart. We will all miss him dearly.
Jerry was preceded in passing by his maternal grandparents, Mary and Edward Layman; paternal grandparents, Carmen and Manuel Flores; and his beloved dog, Andrus.
He is survived by his parents, Kathy and Manuel Flores; sisters, Jennifer, and Alex and her husband, Joe; nieces, Alyssa and Haley; nephews, Michael and Ryan; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends who loved him dearly.
