Marcel Alfred Muller

Marcel Muller, 86, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014, due to kidney failure. Memorial Service: 3pm, Saturday, November 29 at the Alliance Methodist Church, 7904 Park Vista Blvd. Ft. Worth, Texas 76137.
Marcel was born in Nyon, Switzerland August 21, 1928. He grew up in Morges Switzerland. He has 1 sister who is deceased, and 1 brother and 2 sisters living. He took an apprenticeship in business management. He was an officer in the Swiss Army and attached to a bicycle Troop Unit. He moved to Fairway Kansas to sell Swiss watches for Jules Borel & Company and did that for 37 years. At age 62 he joined Roth Jewelers in Overland Park for the next 16 years.
He married Myra Miller in 1953. They had 4 children, Michael Muller, Monica Stromberg, Marlene Bolster and Mark Muller. They gifted him with 10 grandchildren; Lindsey, Kelly and Marcel W., Matthew, Mark and Sarah, Conner, Landon Smith, Cailey and Alyssa. He had 3 great-grandchildren; Briana Smith, Clement and Grayson.
They belonged to Shawnee Presbyterian Church on Neiman Rd. in Shawnee Kansas for 46 years.
In 2008, Myra and Marcel moved to Fort Worth, Texas to be near children. There he took his dogs to the park two times a day, fed the turtles in the creek and visited his friends.
