Marchita Ruth Risner

Marchita Risner of Keller, TX, passed away on Saturday, July 17th, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on March 30, 1949, in Durant, Oklahoma to Joe and Melba Risner.

Marchita is survived by her son Danny and Cheryl Miller of Keller, TX, daughter Buffy Miller of Keller, TX, granddaughter Morgan and Noah Jackson of Texarkana, TX, grandson Daniel Miller of Austin, TX, and great-grandson’s Austin and Isaiah Jackson.

Nephew David and Brena Risner of Elgin, OK, Niece Molly and Jimmy Atkinson of Sunset, TX, and their children Amanda and Chance Gilmore, of Bowie, TX, Emily Atkinson of Sunset, TX, Ben and Sheyenne Risner of Grovetown, GA, Mary Ellen Atkinson of Sunset, TX, and Jonathan Luke Risner of Elgin, OK.

Marchita loved spending time with your family, coloring, painting, and watching her beloved “SOONER” football. In her honor, we ask that you wear red and white to the funeral.

She is preceded in death by mother Melba, brother Bill, and father Joe Risner.

Service: A service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 10:00 at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas. In honor of mom, please wear red and white to the funeral service. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Sunset, Texas.
