Marcus Richard Keiser

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Marcus Richard Keiser, 85, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016.
Funeral: 10:00 am Friday in the Chapel of Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Interment will follow at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Thursday at the Funeral Home.
Marcus was born August 18, 1930 in Leavenworth, Kansas to Ira and Margaret Keiser. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps before graduating from Kansas State University in Manhattan with a Bachelor in Restaurant Management. In 1963, he married his best friend, Rogene Habrock in Colorado Springs, CO. Marcus enjoyed spending time as a mentor for a Literacy Council and donating blood. He was a generous Christian man who liked to bowl, was an excellent cook, loved to help others, was an avid Texas Rangers fan, and above all, he loved his family.
Survivors: Loving wife of 52 years, Rogene Keiser; sons, Paul Keiser, Scott Keiser and wife Birgit, and Jon Keiser and wife Kim; grandchildren, Megan, Timmy, Katrina, Emily, Marissa, and Christopher; brother, Tom Keiser and wife Ann; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.
