Peggy (Margaret) DeTeso

May 20, 1949 — September 10, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peggy (Margaret) DeTeso, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Peggy, age 75, was born on May 20th, 1949, in East Boston, MA, to Carmen and Margaret Fuccillo. A graduate of Winchester High School, Peggy pursued her studies at Fisher College. In 1969, she exchanged vows with her high school sweetheart, David DeTeso, with whom she shared a deep and enduring love.

Peggy had a zest for life and found joy in maintaining her physical fitness through her love for working out. She had a passion for sports, as well as for crochet and knitting, hobbies through which she showcased her creativity and skill.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Carmen and Margaret Fuccillo.

Peggy is survived by her loving husband, David DeTeso, her daughter Lori Durbois, and her grandchildren Michael Durbois, Rachel Durbois, and Kayla Durbois – as well as several cherished family and friends.

Please join us in honoring Peggy's life and legacy at a visitation and rosary to be held from 1pm-4pm on Sunday, September 15th, 2024, at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, TX. A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton the following Monday, September 16th, 2024 at 10:30am. She will be laid to rest following the Mass in Bourland Cemetery, surrounded by the love and memories that she leaves behind in the hearts of her family and friends.

Above all, Peggy was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, whose warmth, wit, and fond memories will forever be adored by those who knew her. Her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us, and her presence will be deeply missed. May she rest in eternal peace.
