Margaret Ruth Wayne Harlan was born January 18, 1925 in California where she was raised and attended school. She received a Bachelor of Science & Arts Degree from the University of Southern California
Margaret married George Harlan May 13, 1945.
She worked in the clothing design industry for California Girl, before becoming a world renowned artist.
She was best known for her blue bonnet paintings, which sold faster than she could paint them.
Margaret traveled the world, raced in the Catalina Ski Race, rode motorcycles with Wild George, all with class and spunk.
Margaret will be sorely missed and survived by her husband, George Harlan and daughter, Linda Diane Harlan, who lovingly always called her “Mommy”.
All who loved her dearly will never forget her tenacity, wit, charm and grace.
