Margaret Anderson Hitchcock

December 17, 1925 — May 6, 2023

Margaret Anderson Hitchcock was born on December 17, 1925, in Camden Arkansas and died on May 5, 2023 after 97 years of living life to the fullest. As a life-long educator, Grandmother never stopped "instructing" others...in everything from higher math, to household hints, or how to bake an apple pie. A lifelong learner she read at least one newspaper everyday and worked her crossword puzzles in ink. She was always ready to travel, read a good book, engage in a good conversation after she made sure everyone was well-fed. Family came first and she especially loved interacting with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Jack. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Jim Allen; grandchildren, Jake Allen (Julie), Betsy Spencer (Brian), Clint Allen (Leah); great grandchildren, Gracie Spencer, Kendal Allen, Henry Spencer, Robert Allen, Wesley Allen, Libby Spencer, Easton Allen and Andi Allen.
