Margaret Thetford Larson, 93, of Haltom City, Texas, went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2022.
Margaret was born in Winters, Texas on April 13, 1929, and grew up in Anson, Texas in a very large and loving family, with three brothers and five sisters. She later moved to Fort Worth where she met her husband and together they owned and operated a convenience store, Larry’s 7-10 Grocery & Gas, for many decades. She is survived by six children, Sarah Sanders and her husband Don, Kitty Vickers and her husband Charles, Delbra Buyers, Loren Larson, Sherry Wilson and her husband Alan, and Gary Larson and his wife Donna; son-in-law, Walter Taylor; ten grandchildren, Kristie Zenick and her husband Geoffrey, Laurie Sexton and her husband Sam, Vicki Miller and her husband George, Ricky Buyers and his wife Kirsten, Wendy Lambert and her husband Chris, Jennifer Ryback and her husband Andy, A.J. Wilson and his fiancée Kat, Nicholas Vickers, Alex Vickers, and Robin Vickers; and twelve great-grandchildren, Johanna Buyers, Lukas Zenick, Kailee Beth Buyers, Mitchell Zenick, Noah Miller, Taylor Lambert, Bridget Zenick, Lizzie Lambert, Landon Sexton, Emory Sexton, Drew Ryback, and Hudson Ryback.
Known to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as “Granny,” she will long be remembered for hosting special gatherings throughout the years for her family.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Loren Clyde Larson; her daughter, Patricia Taylor; her sister, Dot Hubbard; her brother, Benny Thetford; and her parents, B.R. and Francis Thetford.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home at 1601 S. Main Street in Keller, Texas. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Lucas Funeral Home at 1601 S. Main Street in Keller, Texas, with the burial to follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home at 5725 Colleyville Boulevard in Colleyville, Texas.
