Margaret Greener Long

October 2, 1939 - July 28, 2024

Margaret Long of Grapevine, TX passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, July 28th 2024. She was a beloved mother, Nana, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was a member of Sheppard Drive Baptist Church for many years and never wavered from her faith in the Lord.

Margaret was a special woman who had a way of making all who entered her home feel welcome and loved. Margaret was known to many as an incredible cook. She loved spending time with her family and sharing a Sunday lunch together which was never complete without one of her amazing desserts. Though she was a woman of few words, she exuded quiet strength and spread warmth and kindness wherever she went. One of the titles Margaret was most proud of was that of "Nana" to her three grandchildren for whom she served as a constant source of love and support.

Margaret is survived by her daughters Cindi Bartlett and Carol Carmack. Her grandchildren Sheri Bartlett, Cody Carmack and Kasey Pruitt and husband JD. Her great grandchildren Cooper and Kutter Carmack and Caroline and Harper Pruitt. Her sister Edith Royer and brother Robert Greener and numerous nieces and nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bobbie Long, daughter Pamela Long and her sister Shearon Shelton.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 on Friday 08/02 at Sheppard Drive Baptist Church 219 N. Sheppard Drive Euless, TX.
