Margaret Mafuahingano Uhi

Margaret Mafuahingano Uhi was born July 29, 1947 in Fasi Mo’e Afi, Nukualofa, Tongatapu. She was the eldest of Tevita and Silivia Mafuahingano. Margaret left us early Saturday morning, October 12, 2019 at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Oakland, California.

Margaret loved her family with all of heart, especially her parents. She lovingly devoted her time to her loved ones as God’s servant. Margaret never met a stranger and found joy in seeing the good in all people. Her smile and happiness would light up a room.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Pomana Uhi; daughters, Emma Pahulu (Sione Pahulu), Catherine Uhi-Chatman (Travis Chatman), Daisy Uhi Tuha (Latu Jared Tuha), and Irene Mafuahingano; grandchildren, Maria Allison Pahulu, Mesake Pahulu, Travis Mana Isileli Niu Uhi Chatman, Oliana Ma’ava Uhi Chatman, Pomana Uhi Chatman, Leiola Silivia Havea Uhi Chatman, Christian Kaliopasi Uhi Chatman, Jeana Masani Uhi Tuha, Latu Jared Tuha II, Tevita Mafuahingano Elijah Uhi Tuha, Mana Uhi Loloa Tuha; great grandchildren, Toetu'u Fifita, Sione Fifita; brothers, Pakileata Kaufusi, Tomasi Mafuahingano, Sateki Mafuahingano, Isileli Niu Mafuahingano, Samuiela Oketi Mafauhingano; sisters, Ofakilami Tuungafasi, Anau Pulete, Mele Ma’ava Mafuahingano and many in-laws, many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Services will begin at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Lucas Funeral Home located at 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, Texas 76053 with interment to follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.
