Margaret R. "Bonnie" Weller

October 18, 1932 — December 23, 2020

My Bonnie the love of my life passed from her earthly bonds to the Right Hand of Jesus our Lord and Savior while I was blessed to be able to hold her hand at that time. Her family and friends know her as Bonnie, a name given to her by her sister at birth. She was born in Detroit, MI to Ronald Campbell and Florence Bolton Campbell. She attended Western High School and at a later time Edmonds Community College, in Edmonds, WA. Before she married she held several jobs and the one she often spoke about and enjoyed was Michigan Bell Telephone Mobile and Marine Telephone Operation.
In 1953 while attending an U.S.O. dance at Selfridge AFB, MI, she met her future husband Hal Weller. They were married August 7, 1954 at Preston Methodist Church. Their marriage was blessed with three children, a daughter Mary and two sons, Mark and Michael. After military service Hal was employed with the FAA and they lived in several locations; Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Washington State, and Texas.
Bonnie was active in many different things in her travels. She was an active member of Bethany Belles Home Extension Service being name Citizen on the Year in Moore, Oklahoma. She was on the bowling team, A Cub Scout Den Mother and a happy and proud member of Harmony Sunday class at FUMC Hurst as well as the Wednesday morning bible study class. She was working to become well enough to return back to classes.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her sons, Mark and Michael; her parents; and two grandsons, Shawn and Aaron.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years; daughter, Mary(Greg) Willingham; daughter-in-law, Karen Olson Weller; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, close friends, and church family.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date.
