Margaret (aka Peggy) Helen Yatsko passed peacefully Monday, April 29th, 2024,
at Lake Village Nursing Home in Lewisville, Tx. where she lost her final battle with
cancer.
Born on August 9th, 1934 in Wilkes Barre, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Thomas
Duddy and Lillian Kendig. She graduated valedictorian from
Sacred Heart High School, class of 1952 in Plains, Pa. She married her husband
Edward Yatsko in 1956 in Wilkes Barre and is survived by daughter Kate, in NY,
son Thomas in Los Angeles as well as a grandson, George Williams and great
grandson Benjamin Williams also in Los Angeles.
Peggy worked in the real estate industry for several years in the Grapevine area and
loved helping families find the perfect home that they would love.
She enjoyed traveling, gardening and volunteering at Baylor Hospital in her retirement.
Prior to living in Texas, Peggy and her family also lived on Long Island, New York,
Cleveland, Ohio and Rockaway, New Jersey before relocating to Texas where her
husband worked for American Airlines for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ed, her brother Thomas Duddy Jr., and
parents Lillian and Thomas Duddy Sr. and numerous numerous aunts, a nephew and
a niece.
The Yatsko family would like to thank Christus St. Joseph Village, Coppell, Tx. for
their loving and caring staff, and all the residents who became a friend to Peggy.
She loved you all.

A viewing in the chapel will be held at 12:30 for those interested.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lake Village Nursing Home in Lewisville,
Tx. whose staff took great care towards her comfort and peace In her final days, as
well at Three Oaks Hospice. Her other favorite charities were St. Jude’s Children’s
Hospital and The American Cancer Society.
