Margie Jean Terry of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on March 31, 2019. She will always be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend to all that knew and loved her.
She was born on April 18, 1971 in Trinidad, Colorado to Walter and Sandra Terry. She was the middle child of nine kids. At the age of 11, she was diagnosed with a kidney disease. She started dialysis in 1986. She earned a plaque for the Irma Olivas Longest Dialysis Patient in North Texas in 2013.
Margie loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She spent many years babysitting as well. She loved to play and teach card games to the kids. She spent many years helping out in the Children’s Ministry and Nursery at The Chapel Assembly of God in Keller. She loved the Rangers, Cowboys, Stars and Mavericks. She was very loyal to the Texas teams. Margie’s nickname was “Little Mousey” because when she was little she talked so soft and fast (she sounded like a mouse squeaking) you had to lean down to hear what she was saying. All family members have always gotten her mice collectibles as presents. Margie’s favorite color is dark purple. She would put it in her room, clothes and on her fingernails. She also loved Barbie Dolls and collected many, some are still in the original boxes. Margie loved all old TV shows, I Love Lucy and Perry Mason were two of her favorites.
Margie is survived by Parents: Walter and Sandra Terry; Siblings: Charles and Renee Terry, Jan and Jon Williams, Wendy Terry, Melissa and Mike Kalaher, Johnny and Brenda Terry, Christi and Keith Swartzendruber, Mark Terry, and Scott and Angela Terry; Nieces and Nephews: Ryan and Evelyn, Thomas, KaSandra and Tyler, Tanya, Michael, J.P., Tim, Steven, Kelsey, Abigail, Camron, Breanna, Charlee, Landry, Elliot, Peyton, and Daniel and Gisele; Great Nieces: Kyra and Skyler.
The Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13 at The Chapel Assembly of God, 4101 Golden Triangle Blvd., Keller, TX 76244.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Chapel’s IAM His Kids Children’s Ministry.
