Marguerite Ann Painter

Marguerite “Beebs” Ann Painter, 100, of Richardson, Texas passed away March 2, 2020.

Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, April 4, 2020, at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Haughton, Louisiana.

In lieu of flowers, the family request masses be said for the repose of the souls of the departed family members.

Marguerite was born June 22, 1919 in Lenora, Kansas to Rose (Lunney) and Thomas Costello. She was a 50 year plus member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas at Christ the King Church in Bossier City, Louisiana. Marguerite attended Mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Keller, Texas. She worked as a nurse for over 30 years and as a labor and delivery nurse for most of those years. She loved to dance, crochet and quilting. Most of all Beebs loved to watch her grandchildren play sports. She also was an avid professional sports fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Boyd Painter and son, James Costello Painter.

Marguerite is survived by sons, Thomas D. Painter and wife Marilyn and William B. Painter and wife Linda; daughter, Patricia Kirby and husband Richard; grandchildren, Melissa Painter, Anne Painter and Joe Keller, James Patrick Kirby and wife Elizabeth Ann, William Colin Kirby and Michael Kirby; great-grandchildren, Ellen Taylor and Colie keller.
