Maria Vizuet

With great sadness, the family of Maria Vizuet declares her passing on July 21st, 2023, at the age of 93 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Maria Vizuet was born October 4th, 1929 in Xithi, Hidalgo, Mexico to loving parents Eustorgia (Martinez) and Carlos Vizuet. Most of her life was spent in Mexico, where she graduated and became a teacher. Maria immigrated to the United States, finding a home in Fort Worth for her family. She became a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and could be found with her congregation on Saturdays in worship. Maria’s time was spent reading, gardening and tending to her flowers, singing, and listening to Christian music. Her most cherished memories were with her large family and many friends.

Maria is survived by her three siblings, nine children, 23 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and the friends and neighbors whose lives she touched.

A visitation will be held for Maria at 12:30pm, Tuesday July 25th, 2023 in the chapel of Lucas Funeral Home located in Keller, Texas.

A funeral service will be at 1:30pm, Tuesday July 25th, 2023 in the chapel of Lucas Funeral Home located in Keller, Texas.

A committal service at graveside will follow the funeral service at Bourland Cemetery in Keller, Texas.
