Marie Eleanor Iervolino

Marie Eleanor Iervolino passed away Wednesday April 19th, 2023 in Keller, Texas. She was born April 6th, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY to Louis and Grace Bivona Iervolino. She attended P.S. 202 in Brooklyn, NY and Brooklyn College and obtained a teaching degree. She taught grade school for several years and then went to work for General Motors corporate offices in Manhattan for 18 years. In the mid 1980’s she moved to West Palm Beach, Florida where she went back to teaching and retired. She moved to Watauga, Texas in the early 2000’s to enjoy her retirement near family. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, involved in a professional women’s business organization, and an active member in her retiree communities. Traveling was one of her passions but most of all she treasured her time with family.

Marie is survived by her only sister Carol Iervolino Rup; her nephew Christopher and his wife Janice and their two sons, Tyler and his wife Ryan and Jake and his wife Shelby; her nephew Mark and his wife Michelle and their three sons, Casey and his significant other Laura Kelsey, Dylan and his wife Kathryn and their son Oliver and their daughter Lennon, and Grady and his fiancé Abby Kempa; her niece Tracy Rup Emmert and her husband Ted and their two daughter Grace and Ava.

Funeral services will be at Lucas Funeral Home 700 West Wall Street, Grapevine, Texas Saturday April 29th. The visitation will be at 10 a.m and the funeral service will be at 11 a.m.
