Marie Annette Maxwell

Marie Annette Maxwell, 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, August 7, 2017 after years of battling numerous health issues.
Memorial Service: 10:00 AM Friday at Peace Lutheran Church in Hurst. Visitation: 6-8:00 PM Thursday evening at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Peace Lutheran Benevolence Fund.
Marie was born March 10, 1945 in Crookston, Minnesota to the late Elmer and Ruth Ross. She graduated from Central High School in Crookston in 1963. Marie retired after serving over 20 years with the U.S. Postal Service. She loved her church, her friends, her dogs, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family who will forever miss her.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Maxwell; and children, Matthew Jordan and Tanya Jordan Maxwell.
Survivors: Son, Jason Jordan; daughter, Lisa Stanford and husband Steve; step-daughter, Jennifer Casey and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Alyssa, Jordan, April, Taylor, Sarah, Abby, Amanda, Miles, Bri, Ashton, Toni, and Matthew; brothers, Donald Ross and wife Judy and Dave Ross and wife Connie; sister, Sue Atkins and husband Craig; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.
