Marilyn Ann Joyce of Burleson, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of almost fifty years, Robert (Bob) and by her parents John and Barbara Trigger. She was the loving mother of Tim (Kitrena), Matthew (Kerry), and Michael (Pattie), and Heather; proud grandmother of Autumn, Saulo (Ashley), Hayden, Rachel, Sara, Sam, Sophie, Sawyer, Noah and Gabriel; and great grandmother of Emma. She is survived by sisters Carolyn Robbins (Dan) and Michele Howe (Buddy); brothers Rich (Myra) and Jim; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Marilyn was born October 4, 1945 in Kansas City, MO and pursued a career in nursing after graduating from Merrillville High School in 1964. She had several roles in the medical field working both in the hospital and private practice. Marilyn was an avid reader and well equipped to provide insight to a broad array of subjects. She enjoyed sewing, art and traveling and experienced living in South Korea and Canada. She was a good wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who was quick to provide support in time of need and just as quick to rejoice in your successes. One of her greatest pleasures in life was to watch her children and grandchildren participate in various activities and rarely missed an opportunity to attend a sporting event or school function. We are so grateful for her life and though we will miss her, we will always deeply treasure her in our hearts and give thanks for everything she has given us. The visitation will be at the Lucas and Blessing Funeral Home 518 SW Johnson Avenue Burleson, TX 76028 on Friday, April 19th, from 6-8pm.
