Marilyn Stilwell, 53 of Fort Worth passed away May 20th in Fort Worth.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday, May 30 from 5:30 - 7:30pm at the Snooty Pig Restaurant, which was Marilyn's favorite breakfast spot. A place that always made her smile. We will have the restaurant all to ourselves. So all are welcome.
Marilyn was born April 3, 1965 in Honolulu, HI to George Frank and Barbara May Figueroa.
Marilyn grew up in Hawaii, cherished her family, loved the beach, loved animals and embraced the Aloha Spirit.
Marilyn was an experienced paralegal, respected for her strong expertise in family law. She took pride in her work and was known for her relentless commitment to guiding families through challenging times.
Marilyn was best known for her helpful and caring attitude and actions toward others. She had an amazing capacity to love and respect all living creatures. Her genuine smile, laughter and since of humor were a gift to all that knew her.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Gary Figueroa, David Figueroa and Francis Figueroa; sisters Diane Figueroa and Mary'Ann Figueroa.
Marilyn is survived by her husband James Stilwell; son Shawn Rath; step-daughters Jaime Stilwell and Carly Stilwell; mother-in-law Edna Stilwell; brothers Peter Figueroa, Paul Figueroa, Thomas Figueroa, Damien Figueroa, Michael Figueroa, George Figueroa and Clifford Figueroa; sisters Faith Benge, Valerie Pu’u, Donna Schine, Arlene Mederios, Leona Faustina and Marie Miller; brothers-in-law Mike Stilwell, Russell Stilwell and Bob Stilwell; sisters-in-law Linda Larson and Betty Joe Morelli; 32 nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Pualani (“Pua”).
