Marine R. Street

Marine Street was called home on Thursday, August 2nd, 2018. Visitation at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst on 5 August 2018 from 3 to 5 pm. A funeral service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1308 Whitley Road, at 10am on 6 August 2018. A graveside services will immediately follow at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made by check to Messiah Lutheran Church to the Marine Street Memorial Fund or to donate online click here choose Other, under Offerings and designate Marine Street Memorial Fund.

Marine was born in Mart, Texas in Limestone County on October 18, 1925. Marine married her husband, Charles A. Street (decease), of 60 years on March 3, 1951. She was strong in her faith, loving, beautiful, witty, creative, selfless, supportive, one of a kind. She taught Sunday school for 47 years in the Lutheran churches she attended. She was a very kind and caring woman who was always willing to help others. She will be well-remembered by all who knew her. She loved to work in the yard, baking, cooking and taking care of her family she loved so much. Marine is survived by her; son and daughter in-law Charles W and Cindy Street; daughter Peggy McKinney; son, Dennis Street; grandchildren, Stephen Street and his wife, Rebecca, Kyle McKinney, Stacey Street and her partner Amanda, and Heather Hubbard and her husband, Eric; great-grandchildren Parker, Presley and Pryce Hubbard and Troy McKinney.
