Marjorie Sue Teer

Marjorie Teer, 85, passed away Saturday September 28th. She was born July 25th 1934 in Hoburt Oklahoma to Reverend Henry and Suzie Hege. She grew up in Corn Oklahoma where she was captain of the first women’s basketball team.

Marjorie moved to the Dallas area in the early sixties. After her children were grown, she worked at McKesson for many years before retiring in her late sixties. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Grapevine where she attended until her health declined.

Marjorie loved her family, holidays, and spending time with her friends. Her family and friends describe her as kind, generous, loving and spirited. She will be sincerely missed by her two sons Rick and Mark, her daughter Susan and husband Richard, her grandaughter Jordan and husband John, and great grandaughter Olivia.
