Marjorie Coralene (Kaylor) Wardle more commonly referred to as “Corky” passed away on August 18, 2018 at the age of 90 years old.
Memorial Services will be held at Richland Hills Christian Church at 3908 Ruth Road, Richland Hills, TX 76118 on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 11:00 AM. The service will be officiated by Reverend Paul Klaus.

Corky was born in Cuyahoga Falls, OH on November 9, 1927. She was raised in New Philadelphia, OH and attended New Philadelphia High School. She met the love of her life – Gene Wardle – at Olgebay Resort in Wheeling, WV when she worked at the resort restaurant and he was a gardener. They married on December 21, 1946. Both Gene and Corky had successful careers at Sencorp. After their careers, they spent many years traveling the world spending time on all seven continents. Their summit trip was a six-week tour around the world. Corky was always active in her church at Casas Adobes Congregational United Church of Christ in Tucson, AZ until she moved to Texas in 2012. More recently she was an active member at Richland Hills Christian Church. She is fondly remembered by her family as a loving and graceful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Eastern Star in Ohio.
Corky was preceded in death by her loving husband Eugene Emerson Wardle, her brother and sister-in-law Earl and Leatha Kaylor and her parents Ross Morton and Byrdetta Mae Kaylor.
Corky is survived by Mark (son) and Jude Wardle of Hurst, Texas; Ann (daughter) and Dewey Warden of Cincinnati, OH; Kenn (grandson) and Sara Wardle and their children Connor and Eleanore of Fort Worth, TX; Brian (grandson) and Heather Wardle of Little Rock, AR; Kara Warden (granddaughter) of Cincinnati, OH; Rachel Warden (granddaughter) of Cincinnati, OH; Lyn Emerson (niece) of Wooster, OH and a variable cornucopia of friends all across the United States.
