Mark Weston Jones

Mark Weston Jones, 56, died January 9, 2018 in Trophy Club. Mark was born April 24, 1961 in Dallas to the late Hershal Ray Jones and Julia Bernadean Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Jones; his two children, Weston Jones and Allison Jones; brother, Eric Jones; sister in-law, Amy Jones; and nephews, Austin and Preston Jones.

Mark graduated from Stratford High School (Houston) in the Class of 1979 and was a member of the 1978 State Championship football team at Stratford. Mark then attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated in 1983 with a business degree in marketing. His career was in the insurance industry.

Mark loved sports, and was an avid supporter of the University of Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros, and Dallas Stars.

He was a dedicated and loving father to his children and a devoted husband. His smile and personality were unforgettable and his positivity gave strength to those around him. Mark treated everyone he encountered with respect and dignity. Mark will be missed by everyone who had the privilege to know and love him, especially his family.

Mark will never be forgotten and can never be replaced in our hearts.
