Marla Michele (Shelly) Welson was taken by the Lord on July 24, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.
Shelly was the daughter of Jack and Alice Meadors.
Shelly was a lifelong healthcare worker. She started as a respiratory therapist in her early 20’s and finished her career as an ICU nurse at Baylor Grapevine in her late 50’s.
For her entire life shelly was always taking care of others. Shelly took care of not just her patients at the hospital but her friends, family and even strangers could feel her love.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Bill, and her loving sister, Saundra Maschmeyer.
