Marlyn Sue Guadagno passed away peacefully at home in Southlake, TX, July 24, 2018 at the age of 83. Born in Arkansas City, KS on August 31, 1934, she was one of 6 children born to Elmer E. and Zetola Coats. Sue and her husband, Jerry Guadagno celebrated 66 wonderful years of marriage on January 25 of this year. They raised their 3 children on a firm foundation of their faith in Jesus Christ. They lived in 7 states and Washington, DC while raising their family. Their first priority was always to find a church home where they would teach God’s word and serve others. Sue was known and loved for hosting family and friends with her Southern hospitality and wonderful food. Once retired, Jerry and Sue enjoyed traveling across the country in their RV, especially with her oldest brother Earl and his precious wife Wanda.
Sue is survived by her husband, Jerry, their son Jerry Wayne and wife Sheri, granddaughter Angela and husband Demecio Molina, grandsons, Brett who met her at Heaven’s gates and youngest son Cory, Sue’s daughter Connie Sue and husband Richard Finch, their children Jennifer and husband James Tobias, Michael Finch and his wife Arleene, their children, Logan and Bella, Sue’s youngest daughter, Regina Marie, her husband Michael Lord and two sons, Dale Wahl Jr. and Brian Wahl. She leaves a large extended family and many dear friends, all of whom are forever grateful to have been blessed by Sue’s unconditional love.
