Mary Meade (Essember) Bradley, of Fort Worth, Texas formerly of Peabody and Beverly Massachussetts, passed away on May 29, 2015 at the Harrison at Heritage, at the age of 92, with family by her side. Mary was born in Peabody, MA to Mabel (Meade) and Lawrence Essember on September 8, 1922. She graduated from Peabody High School in 1939 and then attended Marion Court in Swampscott, MA. She worked as an administrator at the Mass. General Hospital in the Department of Dermatology for Harvard Medical School for 36 years. After retirement Mary started her own Management Consulting Company, partnering with her good friend Dr. Kyoshi Toda, which bridged the gap between American and Japanese Academia and Dermatology. Mary made more than 25 trips to Japan in her lifetime. An avid adventurer, she traveled the world, and was a voracious reader. A unique, strong, and independent woman,Mary was amazing, loving and generous. She lived her life centered on family and work. She is survived by her son, Brad Bradly of Southlake, TX; daughter, Laurie Michalski of Fort Worth, TX ; grandchildren, Jodie Michalski and husband Wes Sowers , Ryan Bradley, Brian Michalski and wife Anna. She also leaves four Great Grandchildren, Joey and Jake Michalski and Gregory and Greta Sowers; and daughter-in-law, Diane Bradley and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brother Dr. Lawrence J. Essember II and her son in law Joseph Michalski.
There will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd, at 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her favorite charity: Pro Players Foundation, 190 W. Highway 114, Suite A, Southlake, TX 76092, a non-profit organization founded in 2006 by her son, grandson and others to help the under-privileged children of Dallas & Fort Worth.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Elysan Hospice, and especially to Linda Giese, her loving Comfort Keeper for more than 4 years.
