Mary Andaleen Canen

Mary Andaleen Roberson Canen, 84 passed away December 22,2020 at Texas Health Huguley Hospital, in Burleson, Texas. A visitation will be held at from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home, 518 SW Johnson Ave. in Burleson. A graveside service will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Burleson Memorial Cemetery.
Andaleen was born June 21, 1936 in Big Spring, Texas to Otay and Ethel Daniels Roberson. She grew up in Godley and graduated from Godley High School in 1954. She married Paul Edward Canen on December 7, 1954 and became a full-time military wife and mother. They were happily married for 66 years.
She attended Bee County College in Beeville, Texas where she received her Bookkeeping certification. She enjoyed traveling, crafting and spending with her 5 grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Andaleen was preceded in death by her parents, Otay Frederick and Mary Ethel Roberson; brother, Daniel Cordel Roberson; daughter, Paula Renee Canen Turner; and son, Dana Paul Canen.
Andaleen is survived by her husband of 66 years, Paul Canen; daughter, Wanda (Canen) Walton and husband, Chuck; brother, Ancil Dale Roberson; grandchildren, Joshua Turner, Jeremy Walton, Holly Walton Calahan, Dylan Canen, and Dalton Canen; great-grandchild, Maddox Bexar Calahan; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Honorary pallbearers are: Jeremy Walton, Robert Calahan, Dylan Canen, Dalton Canen, Chuck Walton and Ancil Roberson.
