Mary Elizabeth Coe

Mary Elizabeth Coe was born on August 7, 1931 in, Texas to the late Mary Elizabeth (Sanders) Taylor and Rufus Coleman Taylor. She passed away on February 22, 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 91 years old.
Mary was a committed and devoted educator and retired from the HEB School District. She loved to travel with her husband and loved her time in the RV discovering new places and visiting family and friends. She loved her family and enjoyed anytime they could have a family gathering. She was the Farkle champion of her family. She was a loving mother, Mimi and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of over 66 years, Jackie B. Coe; and siblings, Jane Shields, Junior Taylor, Patsy Ann Glover and Sam Taylor.
She is survived by her daughters, Anice Coe of Burleson, Texas and Ginger Kimbrough and husband, Danny of Sherman, Texas; grandchildren, Heather Kelly, Mark Kelly and wife, Nicole, Jackie Eliason and wife, Lindsey, Susan Eliason, Robert Kimbrough and wife, Laura, and Jaclyn Hyde and husband, Buzz; great-grandchildren, Tony, Adrian, Jacob, Cameron, Emma, Clayton, Mason, Megan, Alex, Grace, and Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 1, 2023 also at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Graveside service will be held later that day at 2:00 P.M. at West End Cemetery in Stephenville, Texas.
