Mary Cowen

Mary Louise Cowen passed away at the age of 87 on December 23, 2016, at the Community Hospice House. A longtime resident of Burleson and First President of BETA SIGMA PHI Chapter in Burleson. Mary was born in Lonoke, Arkansas to Edna Miller and William Thomas Reed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two husbands, Virgil A. Croft (Ben), and John W. Cowen, a daughter, Jeanne Hunt, Son in Law, Billy Hunt, two sisters Lou Jeffcoats and Anna G. Reed, and Grandson Scott Fair.
Survivors: children, Son: Mike (Michele) Cowen two daughters Kay (Rusty) Fair, and Leslie O'Hara all of Burleson. Brother: Bill (Kerin) Reed, of Wake Village, TX. Sister: Dorothy Oliver of Fort Worth, TX. Five (5) Grandchildren: Bryan, Adam, Christy, Cody. Four (4) Great Grand Children: Wyatt, Lacy, Kolton, Kaydan and numerous Nieces & Nephews. At Mom’s request there will be no service.
