Mary Louise Delehant

Mary Louise Zarinsky Delehant, age 72, born May 23, 1949 in Perth Amboy New Jersey and passed away surrounded by her family on November 28, 2021 in Keller, Texas. She was born to Louis and Mary Zarinsky.

After her retirement as a paralegal, Mary Lou was the Executive Director of the Battered Women’s Foundation, a long-time member of the Greater Keller Women’s Club and was involved in many other local women’s organizations where she spent her time serving others in the community. She attended the Catholic Girls School in Marlboro New Jersey.

She enjoyed traveling, spending time at the beach, she loved “her babies” and was THE crock pot queen. Most of all she enjoyed entertaining friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mary Zarinsky and her brother, Louis.

She is survived by her loving husband, Edward J. Delehant III; daughter, Sophia Delehant of Keller, Mary Alice Miller of Ireland, Robin Dumas of Arizona, Jennifer Seab and her husband Justin of Fort Worth, Edward J. Delehant IV of Broken Arrow Oklahoma, Christopher M. Delehant of Clermont Florida; grandchildren, William, Hope and Lily Delehant, Conor Seab, Aaron Florez and Olivia Dumas and brother, Michael Zarinsky of New Jersey.

Visitation will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm Wednesday with a Rosary to begin at 7 pm, December 1, 2021 and from 8:30 am to 9:30 am, Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Lucas Funeral Chapel, 1601 South Main Street, Keller, Texas 76248.

Visitation will be held at 9 am with a Rosary to begin at 10 am, December 4, 2021, Saturday at Cutler-O'Neill Funeral Home, 545 Willow Avenue, Council Bluff, Iowa 51503. Graveside Service to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Council Bluffs Iowa.
