Preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Salazar, daughter Patsy Lynn Sherer, sons Gary Salazar, Richard Salazar. Survived in death by her four sisters, Catherine Castillo, Dorothy Ruiz, Juanita Forbes, Patricia Long and a brother, Jimmy Kuehling. Over 40 years of being a nurse, she devoted herself to helping others. She had a servants heart. She always enjoyed the fellowship and being a practicing member of the Catholic Church. She was a true prayer warrior, always with her rosary close by. She cared about her family deeply, self sacrificing throughout her lifetimes me. Losing her father at an early age made her bond with her siblings even stronger. She led by example since she was a woman of few words. Every once in a while she would surprise you with a funny zinger. Her hopefulness is a quality that shines from her soul and her beautiful smile. Her ability to love through difficulty is something everyone that knew her admired.
