Mary Mauldin Long, of Bedford, Texas went to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on Monday, October 5, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving friend to all who knew and loved her. She was born on July 8, 1960 in Fort Worth, Texas to Billy and Jeane Mauldin. Mary loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. Her favorite role in life was being a Mimi. She enjoyed encouraging people through sending cards and giving gifts.
Mary is survived by husband, Fred Long of Bedford, Texas, daughter, Leslie Wells and husband Trevor of Fort Worth, Texas, daughter, Laura Comafay and husband Percy of Fort Worth, Texas, granddaughters Natalie and Molly Wells of Fort Worth, Texas, grandson Oliver Comafay, expected to arrive in March, brother, Mike Mauldin and wife Bonnie, of Hurst, Texas, sister Pat Marcum and husband Kirk or Emory, Texas, 29 nieces and nephews, numerous family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Mauldin and mother Jeane Mauldin. The visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 on October 9 at Lucas Funeral Home-Keller. The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 on October 9 at Lucas Funeral Home-Keller. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to Global Effects, Inc.
