Mary Annabelle Malcomb, beloved owner of the Whistle Stop Antique Mall in Keller, passed away on August 23, 2024, at the age of 91. Born on October 15, 1932, Mary was a dedicated entrepreneur known for her passion for antiques and vintage items. Her love for shopping and finding unique treasures for her store brought joy to many collectors and enthusiasts over the years.
In addition to her successful business endeavors, Mary had a deep appreciation for nature and enjoyed spending time with her family on trips and bird watching excursions. Her faith in God was a central part of her life, guiding her through both the joys and challenges she faced. She cherished her family above all else, considering them her greatest treasures.
Mary is survived by her daughter Kathryn (Kathy) Shumaker, grandchildren Jennifer Schnell of Cummings, GA., Melissa Guillet of Trophy Club, TX., Juan Tatum of Haltom City, TX., and Tambra Tatum of Keller, TX., great-grandchildren Lee ad Eli Schnell, Annabelle and Penelope Guillet, Emma Tatum, Presley and Cash Tatum, Tori and Leighton Dinsmore and daughter-in-law Rosie Tatum Malcomb. Mary will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband James A Malcomb Sr., son James (Jim) A Malcomb, Jr , and parents Ewell and Ada Grace Spencer.
Visitation will be 2:00-4:00p.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Lucas Funeral Home Keller. Graveside services will be held at Craigsville Cemetery in Craigsville, WV. May Mary Annabelle Malcomb's spirit continue to inspire and bring joy to those whose lives she touched.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Christian Appalachian Project or the American Cancer Society.
