Mary Lucille Castor Newton

Mary Castor Newton passed away peacefully August 19, 2023. Mary was born July 17, 1935 in Fort Worth. In 1957, she married Jerrell Newton and they shared 66 years together. Together, they raised two daughters, Cheryl and Susie in Keller, Texas. Mary was a member of Justin Methodist Church in Justin, Texas and she was a member at Shady Oaks Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. Mary was a wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Jerrell Newton and her parents, Lewis and Frannie Castor. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Rip Helton, her daughter and son-in-law, Susie and Lee Finley, her granddaughter, Kayelen Helton, her sister, Helen Bramlett and her brother, Larry Casto.
The family would like to thank Medical City Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, Fort Worth Transitional Care Facility in Fort Worth, Texas and Heart to Heart Hospice in Fort Worth, Texas. The family would also like to say a very special thank you to Ilda Estrade for her loving care and devotion to Mary.
