Mary Elizabeth Rasberry

Mary Elizabeth Rasberry of Burleson, Texas, passed away at home on Thursday night, July 11, 2024. She was 75 years old. She was born at home in Rector, Arkansas, on February 24, 1949, to Noah and Rachael Clayton. Mary had a large family of 6 brothers and 6 sisters.

Mary was married to her best friend and the love of her life Larry David Rasberry on July 28, 1966, in Flint, Michigan. Mary and Larry had two boys, Larry Bruce and Jeffery Doyne. She had five grandchildren, David Rasberry, Brittini Blankenship, Ella Faith Rasberry, Trinity Marie Rasberry, and Clayton James (C.J.) Rasberry. Her great-grandchildren were Brooke Jones, Emileigh and Timothy Blankenship, and Addison Elizabeth Rasberry.

Mary loved the Lord and attended Burleson First Baptist Church. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She treated everyone like family. She loved to stop at garage sales, go on cruises, fish, read, cook and spend time browsing through her large collection of cookbooks.

She was preceded in death by her parents Noah and Rachael Clayton, brothers Jerry, Darrell, Bill, George, and Randy; sisters Kathy Ann Wheat and Sara Ellen Clayton; and granddaughter Ella Faith Rasberry.

Surviving family members are Larry David Rasberry, her husband for almost 58 years; sons, Bruce and his wife Tiffany, Jeffery and his wife Laurie; grandchildren David Bruce Rasberry, Brittini Blankenship and her husband Colton, Trinity Marie Rasberry, and Clayton James (C.J.) Rasberry; great-grandchildren Brooke Jones, Emileigh and Timothy Blankenship, and Addison Elizabeth Rasberry; brother David Clayton and his wife Jewel; sisters Barbara Carpenter, married to Marston, Linda Travis, Peggy Sutherland, married to Danny, and Lesa Taylor.
