Mary Jane Stoner

Mary Jane (Annis) Stoner, of Grand Rapids Michigan, went to live with her Lord and Savior on April 16th, 2023 in Southlake Texas. She was born on April 17th, 1936 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Gordon C. Annis and Marian (Mather) Annis. Mary Jane graduated from Michigan State University with a nursing degree. While attending Michigan State, she met William (Bill) Guy Stoner. After graduation in 1958, Mary Jane and Bill married on July 26, 1958 and soon after, Bill commissioned as an officer in the US Navy. Together Mary Jane and Bill raised three children, William, Robert and Kimberly. While fulfilling her duties as a military wife and mother, she also worked as a nurse and volunteered at her church playing the piano and organ. After being based in Guam, Rhode Island, California and Michigan, the family transferred to Kaneohe, Hawaii where they stayed well after Bill retired from the Navy.
