Mary Louise Vines, age 87, born February 12, 1935, in Amarillo Texas and passed away January 26, 2023, in Fort Worth Texas. She was born to Charles and Jewel James.
She graduated from Eastfield College in 1975 and received her associates degree in American Sign Language. She was a Deaf Interpreter for Dallas Independent School District for 15 years.
Mary was an active member of Eastern Star and the Red Hat Society. Alongside her husband she served our country while he was in the United States Army for 22 years.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crafts, traveling, gardening, camping and painting.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Linda Topham and her husband, Mark; son-in-law, Robert McKay; grandson, Brent Thornton and his wife, Angie and their daughters, Laura, Karen and Miranda; granddaughter, Misty McPhail and her sons, Lee and Brendan McPhail; grandson, Mark Topham and his wife, Bonny and their sons, Lucas and Landry and their daughter, Lily and brothers, Tommy and Bobby James.
Preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Paul R. Vines on June 30, 2020; daughter, Mary P. McKay on July 7, 2022 and four brothers.
Visitation will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm, Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 South Main St., Keller, Texas 76248. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, February 10, 2023, at Lucas Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 pm, Friday, February 10, 2023 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
