NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Mary Patricia "Pat" Webb, 85, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016.
Funeral service 11am Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.
Interment will follow at 1:30pm at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to TCC Scholarship Fund, American Cancer Society or American Heart Association are requested.
Pat, a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was born June 5, 1930 to Raymond Clayton and Mary Margaret Francisco Powless. She received her doctorate degree from East Texas State University and made a career in education; teaching English and television production. Pat served as Director of Media and Educational Technology at Tarrant County College-Northeast Campus.
She was active in United Way programs, served on HEB Teen court, served as member and chair of the Hurst Zoning Commission and participated Clown Alley volunteer activities at Boo at the Zoo in Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Aaron Webb.
Survivors; daughters, Margaret Hargis and husband, Joe, Betty Sue Martinez and husband, James; grandsons, Sam and Sean Martinez; brother, Joseph Clayton Powless; niece, Katherine Powless White.
