Marydean Jarnagin

March 26, 1936 — April 10, 2016

Marydean Jarnagin (Heffelfinger), 80- years -old, passed away on Sunday April10,2016, at her home surrounded by her loving children in Justin, Texas, after her valiant fight with stage 5Chronic Kidney Failure Disease. She was born on March26, 1936 in Beatrice, Nebraska to John Dean Heffelfinger and Martha Elizabeth Heffelfinger (Welch).
She married our ( Dad ) Wayne T. Jarnagin March 2,1957 at the United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas. Their marriage was later solemnized in Salt lake LDS (Mormon) Temple.
She loved to dance and roller skate in her younger years. Her hobbies included cooking, sewing, and community services in Irving , Texas. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she worked in the youth programs as Primary President, but also with the young women as Young Women's President. She also worked as a Den mother & Cub leader, the backbone of the Cub Scout program.
Survivors included her son, Kyle M. Jarnagin with wife Anna Jarnagin, of Cypress, Texas; her son Kevin M. Jarnagin with life partner Greg N. King of Sanford, Florida, Kathy L. Jarnagin (Heath) with husband Shane Heath of Justin, Texas, and brother Harlan ( Butch ) Heffelfinger of Waco, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents John, and Martha Heffelfinger (Welch), husband Wayne T. Jarnagin and Step mother Virginia Heffelfinger.
Private family services will be held at 10:00AM Friday, April 15,2016 at the EvergreenHome Cemetery in Beatrice, Nebraska. There will be no viewing or visitation. Sign Marydean's online quest book at www.ghchapel.com
