Matthew Hershon

Matthew Hershon, 62, passed away December 25, 2022. He was born on January 1, 1960 in Fort Worth to Milton and Elowise Smith Hershon.

He graduated from L.D. Bell High School and attended Stephen F. Austin University. On October 28, 1995, Matt married the love of his life Rachel Rivera. He loved to spend his time hunting for treasures and collecting coins.

Matt was preceded in death by his mother, Elowise Hershon, and grandson, Julio Costa.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Rachel Hershon; children, Matthew Hershon, Ryan Hershon, Joanne Hershon, Rudy Costa, Raymond Costa, Raheim Costa; siblings, Michelle Clark and Michael Hershon; father, Milton Hershon; grandchildren, Maggie Hershon, Weston Hershon, Zoe Hershon, Ethan Hershon, Andrew Hershon, Rudy Costa, Deja Costa, Tiauna Costa, Alyssa Costa, Raymond Costa, Luis Costa, and Colby Costa; great grandchildren, Aris Costa and Zoe Costa.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM, Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 S. Main St. Keller. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 9, 2023 at Lucas Funeral Home, Keller. Burial following at Bourland Cemetery, 900 Bourland Rd., Keller, Texas 76248.
