Melanie Patricia Bond Burris

Melanie Bond Burris, went to be with the Lord on August 20th, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, daughter and friend to all that knew and loved her. She was born on April 22, 1992, in Abilene, Texas to Calvin and Cindy Bond.

Melanie was a very loving and giving person. Melanie and Tayne were married on May 20, 2017. Melanie loved reading and collecting books. She loved her cats Cranberry and Mimosa and enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons with their friends. She loved to shop and eat lunch with her mom Cindy, sister Alissa and cousins Este and Ivo. She also loved to swim and spend time at Pa and Dot Dots (Charles and Jane Bond) home. Melanie loved Tayne and her family very much. She also always looked forward to Tayne’s mother Terry and sister Angel visiting. She rode horses for several years and enjoyed cooking.

Melanie was preceded in death by her Great grandmother Lillie Camden (Grandma Ki); aunt Debbie Riley; cousins Zach Riley and Ashton Wages; great grandparents Bill and Pat Balliew; aunt Sarah Camden.

She is survived by her husband Tayne Burris; parents Calvin and Cindy Bond; brother Kevin Tillman; sister Alissa Bond; grandparents Charles and Jane Bond; mother-in- law Terry and Paul Grenier; sisters-in-law Angel Dodson, Samantha Gibson, Emily Belcher; brother-in-law Charles Sensel; Aunts and Uncles: Cathy and Scott Tomlinson, Stan Riley, David and Heidi Bond, Ronnie and Jeannie Balliew, Brent Camden. Cousins; Este and Tayvian Riley, Ivo Malone, Christin and Katie Tomlinson, Jason Willens, Mckensi, Austin and Nicole Bond, Amy Jones, Jennifer Balliew, Andie Camden, Michelle Eubank, Camden and Kaitlyn Eubank, Jessica Demetruk and Wade Jones.
