Melba Ellen Risner of Keller, TX passed away on Monday, December 14th, in Fort Worth, Texas. She will always be remembered to all that knew and loved her as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, with a strong faith in Jesus Christ.
She was born on April 14, 1928 in Boswell, Oklahoma to Walter Jefferson and Ruth Ainsworth. Melba grew up as the first girl of seven children, which molded her into the loving mother and grandmother, that she was. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading her bible, being active in her church and traveling with her sisters.
Melba is survived by her daughter Marchita Risner of Keller, TX, grandson David and Brena Risner of Elgin, OK, grandson Danny and Cheryl Miller of Keller, TX, granddaughter Molly and Jimmy Atkinson of Sunset, TX, and granddaughter Buffy Miller of Keller, TX. Great-granddaughter Amanda and Chance Gilmore, of Bowie, TX, great-granddaughter Morgan and Noah Jackson of Texarkana, TX, great-granddaughter Emily Atkinson of Sunset, TX, great-grandson Ben and Sheyenne Risner of Grovetown, GA, great-grandson Daniel Miller of San Marcos, TX, great-granddaughter Mary Ellen Atkinson of Sunset, TX, and Jonathan Luke Risner of Elgin, OK. Eight great-great grandchildren; Raleigh Lynn, Kegann Roy, Charlie Marie, Maximus Ray, Rhett Neil, Austin Reed, Molly Grace, and Isaiah Brooks. Sisters, Sue Davis of Blanchard, OK, Jo and Jackie Hill of Tuttle, OK, and Joy and Bill Nix of Crowley, TX, sister in law Linda Ainsworth of Huntington AR. and brother Henry Dale and Ann Ainsworth, of Surprise AZ. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, which she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by her son Billy Joe Risner Jr., father of her children and love of her life Joe Risner, brothers W.J. and George Ainsworth, brother in law Ray Davis and her parents.
