Melinda Jean Scribner, 75, of Hurst peacefully passed away at her home with her family on Monday, May 7, 2018.
Service: A Graveside service will be held at 9:00 AM Friday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the North Texas Humane Society.
Melinda was born on March 29, 1943 in Wareham, Mass. She lived in Hurst with her husband Billy Scribner for 48 years before his passing in 2015. Melinda loved being with her family and relaxing with her cats, Boots, Ghost Missy, and Kitty.
Melinda was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Myrith Medford; and husband, Billy Scribner.
Survivors: Children, Kimberly Eckhard and husband Scott and Billy R. Scribner, Jr.; grandchildren, Victoria Eckhard and Corbin R. Scribner.
