Melissa Ann Russell

Melissa Ann Russell passed away on April 2, 2024, at her home in Irving, Texas at the age of 52 years. She was born on November 4, 1971, to Jayn and Jo Russell in Battle Creek MI and the family moved to Bedford, Texas in 1973.

Through her father's work overseas, Melissa was able to grow up overseas and experienced many different cultures, including Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Germany. Melissa graduated from Mannheim American High School in 1990 and earned a bachelor’s of Art degree from Texas Tech in 1996.
She has been a Fleet Clerk for Ben E Keith since 2018. In 2019, Melissa met Claude Sheffield and they were married on Sept. 22,2023. Melissa was a fan of the Dallas Stars and was a season ticket holder with her husband. She enjoyed going to home games and visiting with fans and friends.

Melissa was preceded in death by her father, Jayn Neil Russell, and is survived by her mother Jo Ann Russell, her sister Amanda Schuster, her brother- in- law Patrick Schuster, and her niece Saige Schuster, and her nephew Seth Schuster and his wife Sofia Schuster
