Merle Dean Chriss

Merle Dean Chriss, born September 7th, 1922 passed peacefully and comfortably in the company of members of his family shortly before 11am on September 19th, 2015.
Dean served in the U.S. Navy on the carrier U.S.S. Cowpens in the Pacific during World War II and retired from Weyerhauser where he worked most of his career.

Dean leaves Oleta Sue Chriss, his wife of almost 62 years, two daughters Paula Gilbert and Jan Kelly and a son Brian Chriss, two grandchildren Genevieve Russell and Ryan Kelly and two great-grandchildren William and Chase Russell; siblings: James C. Chriss, Carol Louise Lauman, and Ronald Eugene Chriss .
